Bell County Sheriff's Department Equipment Modernization Plan

Considering the tremendous growth occurring and projected to occur in Bell County, the Bell County Sheriff’s Department is seeking all available resources to modernize and improve its patrol and jail operations.  Jail population has also been exacerbated by the effects of covid on Bell County Court operations.  The Bell County Sheriff’s Department Equipment Modernization Plan Grant will provide much needed equipment that will allow Bell County to keep pace with service demands from both growing populations and to enhance operational efficiency and safety for both staff and citizens.
