The Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Training and Technical Assistance Center (PDMP TTAC) reports 2020 data and 2021 features of the Vermont state Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP).


The acronym for the Vermont PDMP is VPMS. It is administered by the State Department of Health. In 2020, the state population was 643,503, and there were 4,611 DEA-registered prescribers and 143 DEA-registered dispensers. Seventeen types of reports are listed as available from the PDMP. Funding for the PDMP is from a CDC grant. The 2021 budget amount is not provided. There are two staff members, one for technical work and one for analytical/epidemiological work. PDMP technological capabilities are profiled, and a chart shows types of requestors for whom solicited and unsolicited reports are available.
