The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) has released a toolkit designed to help law enforcement officers lead the public health campaign against COVID-19.
Developed as part of BJA’s VALOR Officer Safety and Wellness Initiative, the COVID-19 Vaccine Toolkit for the Law Enforcement Community includes resources and strategies that law enforcement agencies can use internally and when communicating to the public about the importance of vaccinations.
"Our hope is that this resource will leverage the police as trusted messengers in the fight against COVID-19, delivering to both their colleagues and their fellow citizens life-saving information about the importance of vaccinations and other critical safety precautions,” said BJA Acting Director Kristen Mahoney.
