BJA is seeking applications for funding through two opportunities designed to support efforts associated with body-worn cameras.
Body-Worn Camera (BWC) Training & Technical Assistance (TTA)
The goals of the BWC TTA program are to learn about the progress and activities regarding BWC implementation, identify opportunities for TTA, provide TTA in efficient and effective manners, and support the successful implementation of BWCs in different sites.
Body-Worn Camera (BWC) Toolkit
Developed by BJA, the BWC Toolkit provides online access to information and resources for stakeholders looking to implement and maintain BWC programs.
Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) Program
This program reimburses states, units of local government, and federally recognized Indian tribes for up to 50 percent of the cost of body armor vests purchased for law enforcement officers.
